from Samaritan’s Purse Franklin Graham:

Dear Friends,

I am deeply grateful for your partnership in packing Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes that are given to millions of children around the world every year. Each one of these boys and girls is precious in God’s sight.

Our ministry partners in more than 100 countries distribute these gifts during Gospel-focused events where they share about the Lord Jesus Christ, God’s Greatest Gift. They often tell us about boys and girls who had been praying for something they needed - such as school supplies, a pair of shoes, or a replacement for a lost cap or mittens that their family couldn't afford to buy. Then, when the child opened the shoebox gift, the little one praised God for answering prayers.

What a privilege it is that the Lord has used these shoebox gifts to bless children in need and show His great love for them! “For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you (Matthew 6:32-33).

Join me in continuing to pray for our ministry partners in the far reaches of the world.

Stop by the OCC Christmas Tree in the Narthex, pick up a box or two or three, and a list of gift suggestions. Please return filled shoeboxes with $10 (if by check, made out to SCPC) for postage no later than Sunday, November 13th. A member of the Missions Team will deliver the filled boxes to the drop off location the following week.
