Here at Spring Cypress
we have robust ministries for all ages.
CHILDREN
The Children's Ministry of Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church joyfully partners with families to teach, model, and proclaim the gospel of Christ to our covenant children so that they may grow as disciples in God's kingdom. We offer nursery, age appropriate Sunday School, and Children's Worship during our service. We also offer several programs throughout the year.
YOUTH
Our youth include 6th - 12th grade. They have Sunday School and Wednesday night Youth gatherings. During our youth gatherings they eat supper together, play games, have a time of singing, and Bible teaching. Throughout the summer they have periodic meetings and special events that occur.
MEN
With manhood under attack, we strive to give our men a place where they can encourage one another, fellowship together, and do the very things they were made to do together. Our men gather for Bible study, breakfasts, book discussions, and friendly competitions.
WOMEN
Redeemed by the Lamb, Rooted in the Word, Responsive to His call. The women at SCPC accomplish this when we gather for weekly Bible study, our hosted fellowship times, our Christmas celebration, and our annual conference.
MUSIC
At SCPC we have a vibrant music ministry. through the leadership of highly skilled choir and praise team, accompanied by instrument ranging from organ and piano to drums and bass guitar. Through the leadership of a highly skilled praise team, we sing songs old and new in a meaningful and engaging style. Because music is a powerful tool, songs are carefully selected to ensure biblical faithfulness.
HOSPITALITY
The Hospitality Team at SCPC exists to show the love of God to our members and guests. They seek to create a warm and inviting atmosphere to ensure that our guests are made to feel welcomed and invited to participate. They team with other ministries to ensure our members and attendees are well cared for.
HOME GROUPS
Our Home Groups are designed to create an environment and culture that is rich in fellowship and discipleship. Our Home Groups are a more intimate setting for our community to gather and share life with one another. Home Groups are organized geographically. They are intentionally multi-generational, prayer-filled, biblical, and full of fellowship.
