Gary and Tammy Elliot, SCPC Missionaries to Bulgaria
Please pray for the Elliotts in light of the following from their letter written to us this month:
In the past month God has shown us a new ministry. We have been ministering to a new group…our own teammates! We think of serving the Bulgarians and helping them but God has shown us that we need to also serve our team. This has happened several times over the past 6 weeks and we have had the opportunity to serve several times. Gary has worked with a family in Sofia on their strategy and planning for the coming year. While he meets with them I have been watching their three boys. This frees them up to work without interruptions. I have also used this time to straighten up their apartment and do mountains of laundry. Laundry here is a challenge. The washers are small and it takes about 1 ½ hours to wash a load and 2 hours to dry it.
We at SCPC support Gary and Tammy with $300/month as a part of our missions budget. Please pray for the requests Tammy wrote to us. Also we encourage you to encourage them with an email gelliott@mtwbg.com

Mercy and care needs are generally defined as physical needs. They are needs that are not met through conversation or words, but primarily through deeds or action. These mercy deeds are evidence of true faith in our Savior Jesus Christ who came to earth to serve, not to be served, and who calls us to serve others through His example.
Philosophy of Serving
The Spirit of Jesus is clearly one of servant leadership, and He said, ‘what you do unto the least of these you do unto Me.” (Matt. 24:45) We seek to serve within our church, to our community of NW Houston, and to the ends of the earth. The Gospel of Christ is faithfully seen when His people are proclaiming His truth and sharing His heart for this broken world. We seek to minister to the totality of human need for the purpose of making disciples.
