Kidz Mission Statement

The objective of our nursery and child-care ministry is to show our children the love of Jesus Christ in a loving, safe, clean and disciplined environment.  We will minister to our children through the efforts of a supportive, professional staff and volunteers, in an atmosphere that is spiritually and emotionally secure, and by teaching our children the truths of the Christian faith in an age-appropriate way.

Family Life

Every Wednesday night for ages Pre-K to 5th Grade we offer:

Kidz Choir  6:30-7:00p in the Sanctuary
Kidz Choir Director: Robin Trygstad
    Kidz Choir kids learn music for sharing with others and worshipping the Lord.  We’ve begun work on Donkey Tales, our Spring Musical that teaches serious biblical truths through humor and memorable songs.  Please pray that our kids will be impacted by the Gospel as they learn the songs and dialog.  If you are interested in helping with choreography, props or costumes, contact Robin Trygstad robin@springcypresschurch.com.

Kidz Quest  7:00-8:00p in the  KidZone
Kidz Quest is designed for Pre K to 5th graders to study and memorize The First Catechism.  This program integrates teaching time, music, games, art, written activities and repetition to help the children memorize and understand the First Catechism questions and answers.  The program promotes memorization so that as children grow and learn they may better understand the theological truths they have already committed to memory.  Most importantly, the goal of Kidz Quest is that each child would develop a deep, personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ and grow deeper in their walk with the Lord.  Snacks will be served each Wednesday night.

Nursery care will be provided for infants and toddlers from 6:30 to 8pm.

Sunday School

We have Sunday School for everyone in the Children’s Wing (we call it the KidZone). The fun begins at 10:10am.  Each class is taught by a church member and studies Biblical truths.

Nursery

We offer a nursery for infants and toddlers each Sunday morning.  Our nursery workers, Dolores McGee and Kathy Vasquez, are assisted by loving volunteers committed to giving your child the best care. Childcare and children's programming are offered for infants through age 4 during each Worship Service and Sunday School.
