Jan’s family was one of the first German immigrants to move into the Spring area.  Most of her family still resides in Spring to this day.

She joined staff as Director of Children’s Ministries for Christ Church United Methodist in The Woodlands in 1995.  She attended summers at Southern Methodist University for her certification in Christian Education, 1997-2000.  She joined the staff at Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church in 2000 as Director of Children’s Ministries.  Besides her children’s responsibilities, Jan also coordinates and sings on the Praise Team at the contemporary service.

Jan is married to Mark Morrow and has one daughter, Ashley, and one step-son, Justin.

Her hobbies include music and working with plants.  Her favorite things to do is take Sunday afternoon drives in the country with her husband, and bake and eat chocolate chip cookies with her daughter.  Jan loves children and better yet, loves to teach them the gospel.  Her desire is to bring them to a personal relationship and faith walk with their Savior, Jesus Christ.

Jan is especially grateful for the love, grace, and mercy she experiences from God each and every day and looks forward to sharing that same love, grace, and mercy with the children and families of Spring Cypress.
