Martha is a native Texan who grew up in Southwest Houston.  She is a graduate of Christian Brothers College in Memphis, TN and earned her Certified Public Accountant certification in 1982.

Martha joined the staff of Spring Cypress Presbyterian Church on a part-time basis in 2003 and became the full-time Financial Administrator in the fall of 2005.  In addition to her responsibilities in the church office, Martha and her husband, Ray, lead a Community Group aimed at young married couples.

Martha is married to Ray Rhoades, an Elder of SCPC, and they have two children, Carolyn and Paul.  Her hobbies include baking and reading. 

Martha is especially grateful for the calling God has given her to serve Him through His church.
