Directory and Member Login Instructions

DIRECTORY AND MEMBER LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS

 

Once you sign in, you can:

View and make changes to your profile

View and submit calendar requests to the church calendar

Search for an individual’s information

Get information about “groups” that you are involved in

 

To sign in for the first time:

Click on the “Directory and Member Login” button on the homepage of our website (www.springcypresschurch.com)

On the right hand side of the screen is a section that says “New User Login?”

Enter your First Name, Last Name and email address

Click “Find Me”

An email will be sent to the email address you enter providing you with a user name and password.

Go back to the login page

On the left hand side of the screen in the section labeled “Please Login” enter your new username and password

 

VIEW YOUR PROFILE

      Here you will see your profile information.  This is selected bits of information taken straight from our church’s database records.  You will see things like your name, address, phone number, email, and other bits of information.  Remember that other people using Access ACS can only see your name, address, telephone and email, so don’t worry about them seeing any private information.   Also, no one can access this information, unless they have been approved by the church office.

 

            CHANGING YOUR INFORMATION                       

     Next to each category (Name, Email, Address, etc.) you will see an icon that looks like a pencil.  Click on it if you would like to change any information.  Enter in your new information and hit “Submit”.  Please note that your information will not be changed immediately.  A red message will show at the top of your profile that says “This person currently has a change request pending”.  What this means is that Access ACS has automatically sent an alert to a church staff member that someone has changed their information.  Our staff must approve the change before it will change online.  After the change is approved your information will automatically change in our database as well so no more having to remember to notify the office separately!  This will help the church office to keep records up to date!

 

     PREFERRED ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, AND EMAIL 

     You will notice when you search other member’s profiles that only one address, one phone number, and one email address are displayed.  We are limited by the software and at this time cannot display more than one for any individual.  So, if you have more than one phone number or email, decide which one you are most likely to use, and make that one “preferred” so that it is available to the congregation.
